Samuel Hardwick
I’m an economist and PhD candidate at the Australian National University’s Crawford School of Public Policy. My research is on trade, investment and geopolitical risk, and the ways that institutions shape international economic exchange.
Before the PhD, I was an adviser on trade and investment policy at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet in the Australian Government. I’ve held various roles at the East Asian Bureau of Economic Research and East Asia Forum. My supervisory panel is chaired by Associate Professor Shiro Armstrong.
I have a Master of International and Development Economics, a Bachelor of Arts in History, and a Bachelor of Economics from the Australian National University.
This website houses datasets used in my research. I’m also on Google Scholar and LinkedIn.
